It depends what kind of geometry do you wish to triangulate.
"Planar Surface" with evenly spaced u&v domain, yes.
Otherwise "Curved Surface"with uneven u&v domain will bring many difficulties.

as you can see in the pictures, i did it with Weaverbird but the problem that the triangles are not the same, and to get low cost for the construction we should do that with the same module, i tryed many time but i didn t find how to make it,

I don't think it's more expensive when if you try to fabricate your elliosoid with different size triangular panels in this parametric world. But, there's probably another reasons why you want to fabricate it with equilateral triangles.
