There have been at least two files posted somewhere on this forum that create geometric versions of the ParamViewer diagram (one by me, one by someone else, it was years ago, I can't remember the details). I'm guessing that diagram was made using something similar. Either a lot of manual work (unlikely, given the skill of the authors of the primer) or some sort of extended version.

Long story short, there is no easy solution.
