algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

This is a feature request... suggestion... please...

I'm selecting branches with "Tree Branch", but I would like them to keep their original path indices. As it is now I have to use a param viewer and a replace tool to recreate the original structure. This is not a big deal but it makes sense to me that this tool should have a boolean toggle to preserve the original structure.

use the split tree component if you want to keep the original structure

OOOOOO  Nice!

Thanks Danny.

Due to the new Datamatching in 0.9x there is a difference in resulting pathstructure on TreeBranch and TreeItem.

While TreeBranch would maintain the PathStructure of the data itself
(independend on hierarchy), with TreeItem it is possible to maintain the PathStructure of the Paths itself.

If you do not use Maintain, you would loose empty branches, so you can´t get to the same structure via ReplaceBranches .

Would it make sense to distinguish between Maintain T and Maintain P?
