Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I'm trying to recreate something similar to this artists' work...

http://www.jontyhurwitz.com/anamorphosis

I've worked on two ways to achieve it and both contain elements of what I need, but not neither way is able to give me the fully desired effect.

Both methods are in the attached gh file. he first is a simple surface mirror which works in as much that it maintains the geometry of the cube, but doesn't distort in the way I want.

The second method does distort in the way I want (as viewed from Point "V" in the attached file. This method though does not rebuild the geometry after the transformation and I can't think of an efficient way to do it.

Does anyone know how I may be able to merge the ability to transform in the way that I want and to reconstruct the geometry afterwards?

*Update*

I stumbled across this which really helped.

The only issue I now have using Daniel's gh files is trying to apply it to multiple geometries at the same time. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Sorry to bump this again... I'm still stuck with it. Has anyone got any ideas?

I've attached a test file which I'm using to try and achieve the effect I want. Ideally I want to be able to select multiple (maybe 30) breps into the same GH component.
