Transform Text to Crv's creates messy curve's

Hi All,

I've got some issues while making curve outlines from text when using certain fonts. This is one example. I use the TextContour component from FabTools plugin, but the same happens with related python scripts. 

Any alternative how to create a curve that I can use for lasercutting while mainting this specific font
