I just have a quick question: is it possible in this version to generate stress lines for the 3d topostruct ( as was possible in the pre-grasshopper vesion) ? I keep getting null values here when I try ...

Problem solved, there is a separate stressline component for 3d topostruct, I was using the 2d one from the examples.
