algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Today and having some problems with the the Component: Solid Difference

Solid_dif_GH_64.3dm

All I want to do is to boolean the Red Solids on top, from the Black solids on the floor.

Is this working for everyone?

It doesn't seem to like the multiple items to subtract.

Try this

Thanks Danny, I am looking at it, too bad that a very simple thing, has to get so complicated.

Hope you are doing fine these days!

Andres

If you select your geometry in groups it probably doesn't have to be that complicated :)

I doing well thanks for asking.

Danny

I will try it, but for a nice waffle, with curves all over, I do think it would not work…

Let us hope David fix this…

Andres

Multiple items are okay, as long as they all intersect. Some might call this a feature, I hope this bug will get fixed.

Hi Hannes,

You're right as long as they are in the same branch it works

Here's a way that tests for intersections before selecting the correct boxes

Thanks Danny and Hannes, I will go with the second one !!!

Thanks Hannes, It looks like you are 100% right, will do that too.
