Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I currently need to model up this building in grasshopper and was wondering whether anyone could help me out?

Any ideas on how to create the front perforations? I have created some perforations however they do not look as random as these ones.

Could you please post your own definition. Might be just some minor adjustments.

Here is my definition. The perforations are the last definition.

This definiton is pretty much useless without the rhino file.

From what I see, all you do is vary the radii of circles on an even grid. The sides of the BIG tower look like packed circles. You can find some examples of circle packing searching this forum. The curved sides look like some random circles PopulateGeometry or MapToSrf are good starting points for a random distribution of objects along a surface.

Here is the rhino file.

Bump. Sorry :p

Hannes said. Look into circle packing and also using populate geometry.

Hey guys so I used the populate geometry to create circles. However now I am having the problem of them overlapping is there an easy fix to this?

I would like the circles to just touch each other.
