algorithmic modeling for Rhino

The Broad Facade

Hi guys, i am having trouble extrating the modular cellular structure similar to the facade of the broad. My intention is to extract the diamond shape and extrude inwards with vector directions. However i am having trouble extracting the diamond form. 

The logic is to intersect two different planes and obtain the line intersections on all faces of the cube. and then use the geometries to be extruded at an angle. 

Help is needed and thank you !
