Yes panels are also fine...if you know the exact font name its no prob. Or use this definition to get a full list...which version of GH do you have?

Is there a tool, that can get the line thickness done inside of grasshopper? ... have you seen something like this before? ...

If you want to display the line thickness only in GH, then this is the right tool (attached file) <-- this works in 0.9.0014 ;-)

If you want to bake objects with a specific line thickness for print just use the plot attribute component.

Hi Florian,
I've installed FabTools. This is grand!

I need to transform Rhino + Grasshopper in some kind of InDesign, where I have some rectangles as my frames and I can input text there and it will respect the limits of these rectangles and return the text to the next line (Like Word for Windows or Pages for Mac does)

Something like the image, but done automatically ( I did it manually)

First I wrote with the TEXT command in rhino, then this component can read all the annotation objects, now the text is in gh, then you can change the font, justify, orient...

Danke man, aber weisst du, ob diese auch in deinen Fabtools schon vorhanden ist, weil ich schon alles bei mir habe!!! (bestimmt weisst du das! ;)) ... Oder ist das jetzt etwas sehr spezielles für Ahmed? :D

EDIT: I just want to get the line thickness of any possible curve inside grasshopper done. So that I don't need Rhino to get the curve thicker ...

Nein das hat nichts mit FabTools zu tun...wenn du alles richtig gemacht hast, müsste ein neues Tab "User" auftauchen, dort ist das dann drin.

ACHTUNG: die Strichstärke funktioniert nur wenn du Curves hast. Also wenn du Flächenkanten dick darstellen willst, dann mache zuerst BrepEdge und den output dann in diese Komponente rein.

Die Komponente gehört zu keinem Plugin oder so...Ich habe sie vor einiger Zeit für benötigt, gemacht und dann irgendwann im Forum gepostet...und jetzt hast du sie bekommen.

Viel spass damit!

TIP: Wenn du bei view ein Panel mit dem Namen des Viewports (z.B "Top") angibst, dann erscheint die Geometrie die du darstellen willst nur in dem Viewport
