algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello,
I am drawing some preview geometry (shaded breps representing different floor areas) and some textdots (representing loads).
Unfortunately the shaded breps clip the textdots (see attached screenshot).
Is there a way to force the textdots to show in the foreground always?
I am not 100% enamored with textdots (can get too large when zoomed out, and my three lines of text [3 x textdots] can get unnecessarily seperated when zoomed in) so would be happy to hear alternatives that would solve my problems.

has anyone cracked this one? my text dot preview disappears behind previewed geometry. Trying to figure how to bump the text display order to the front. Since I am animating sliders, it is important to get the preview settings perfect.
THX!
Since making this post I have learnt that Rhino does not have a way of controlling the z-buffer (order how overlapping things are drawn in the viewport).
The way around this (which I have note done yet) is to modify the position which you draw stuff on screen so that the stuff you want on top is slightly closer to the camera than its actual position.
Has anyone come up with a "clean" solution to this one?
Struggling with the same issue (only years later...)
Thanks!
