Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys,

I've had a go at modifying the digital toolbox waffle definition to break up the 'waffle' planes into smaller boxes. This means that when fabricating the layers, you can determine the size of the planes in grasshopper to correspond to the size of your fabrication plane, ie. the size of the wood.

Anybody interested have a look. I thought I'd share since a lot of people on here have been helping me, so perhaps someone will find this useful - or even better take it further!

If anybody does have a look, I'd like to know how graft my planes into the original box grid used at the beginning of the script, as shown in the picture.

Cheers, aL

Hello Luca,

This is exactly what I'm looking for as I want to work with a standard 2440 x 1220 mm osb boards in my structure.

Could you possibly make this definition with a little bit more guidance text in the file, to walk me through it. It don't quite understand how to define spacing and material dimension in it? I can define material thickness but I don't know what's what in the file? :)
