Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Can someone tell me the difference between GH Sweep1 and Rhino Sweep1.  In the below image, the red surface is generated in GH and the gray surface is made in Rhino.  I generated both surfaces the same way <draw curve><offset curves><draw arc><sweep1).

I'd like to know why the Rhino (gray) surface can handle sharp cornors and the GH (red) surface has breaks (blue circles on the red surface).

I understand now.

I offset the base curve and the further away from the base curve I got, the curve would develop discontinuity's.  I fixed these discontinuitys with the rebuild curve component.

Now with nice rail curves with no discontinuitys, the surfaces from the sweep1 are fine.

Geeez, I wish I was getting paid by the hour. :)
