algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody, i'm struggling with a definition, when i first did it i had no problem selecting a point (the item) from the division of points in the surface, and project a circle into it; however, I found that it would be better if I instead of using the item used the closest point component, the problem is that instead its projecting it to back of the surface, (its a hyperboloid), i've tried reverting the vector, cause it had worked for me before, but now i have no idea what i could do, i'd appreciate any help...,

in the definition you'll notice that if you switch the closest point with the item in the two point vector it works just fine

Hey i tried dividing the surface in two, and it worked, but i still need to be able to project many cirles and curves into only one surface, I did these images hoping it ilustrates more my problem

Hi again.

I think i found the problem to my projection, the thing is i don't know the solution, but i realized that all the normal vectors in the division points, have a direction inwards the surface (toward the center of the surface, i think the surface is turned around (like inside out)or something like that. Maybe someone could help me out with that; i read something about that in another discussion i just can't find it again... i appreciate the help in advance.

You are right that the normals are facing inwards. You can connect a Flip-component to your interpolated curve before the RevSrf.
Hey Lars thanks a lot it did solve the problem of the normals, that will help a lot form now on, i had no idea the solution to that was so simple. now i wont be having to reverse my vectors.

however it didn't solve my problem with the projectioni have no idea what's going on with that, i m running out of ideas
