Surface patterns/offset holes
Hello everyone,
I'm a grasshopper/forum newbie. I have some questions related to some surfaces I'm studing that I haven't found answers yet, maybe someone can help me out...
I have some surfaces on a tower that morph from one curve to another, so I make a loft of it, divide by points, create a plane and extrude it.
The first question is: can i divide these surfaces based on a specific height (ex: 3meters)? If I split this in parts I can't get an accurate height and everything I try messes with the code, I don't know maybe I'm using a wrong concept...
The second question: i want to make a hole on the offset plane (jpg). Tried everything and only got freezes so far...
The gh file, shape and jpg are attached. I know these may be simple questions, but would help me a lot!
