algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm having a strange issue, where offset is refusing to work for many surfaces. I've got a small cluster of three surfaces in this model, and when i send them to offset, only one of the three surfaces actually offsets! Everything else returns null.

Any ideas why these surfaces are returning null, once passed through offset?

I'm not sure why those surfaces are causing issues.

Here is a work-around. I set the reTrim(T) to false, offset the surfaces then split the faces with the original edges. Then singled out the largest surfaces... crazy but it works.

The second def simply extrudes the surfaces...

Thank you both!

I used the Rebuild command from the Edit menu on all three surfaces and that got rid of the nulls.
