algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Surface Deformation!

Hi guys,

I am trying to make a definition that could create, around the attractor point, a controlled concave or bump on any given surface, just like the picture I've uploaded.

I've made the definition but the "SrfGrid" component wouldn't work. is there any other plug in that i need to have in order to get this component working? or this is not the right component for this purpose?

the other problem i have is that the definition gets messed up when I add another "point" to have two attractor points.

I really appreciate it if you could have a look at the definition and help me.

You may want to check out JellyFish by Daniel Piker.

It can accommodate mulitiple positive and negative point charges.

Is there a way to use this script but set the deformation to a rail or a specific shape ?
