Surface

Hi,

can someone help me please? 

I have problem with surface. I have use different ways to create my plastic leaf, but I can't do it... I have try made surface using Network surface, but nothing... I try made using Patch but than I can't use LunchBox plugin becouse it makes big square around my leaf but I need by contour... so the question is:

How to create plastic complex surface, like my leaf?

is it 2d? (Boundary Surface)
or 3d?
Posting the leaf rhino could also help.
If thats a screencap of Network Surface, the fact that the curves don't terminate on the leaf might be a reason why its reacting badly

Now it's 2d. but I want make 3d leaf... 

One way it's working other not... whay? 

In principle, only one month I'm working in this program,
maybe is a smarter way to make that surface?
