Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Everyone!

Over the last days I've been developing this definition for controlling both the sun vector(from Heliotrope) and the reflection vector off of a mirror plane. Have to say here that I'm totally new to Grasshopper. The main idea is that later i will be able to control an arduino powered mirror with data obtained from grasshopper using firefly.

Since I'm new to this software I wondered if any of you would be so kind as to check my definition and see if it could be improved in some way. I'm pretty sure there is something I'm doing wrong in the reflection simulation part since it's running really slow in my computer. (2011 macbook pro running windows 7 on bootcamp)

I would like to add more "mirrors" to the definition and probably there is a better way to do this. Any ideas or recommendations would be awesome and very welcome.

Thanks!

I think for your definition being slow is that your mesh has 10000 mesh faces, and then you also use pullPoint for each vertices of the mesh. Do you really need to color the mesh this way?
