Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there!
I have a problem and I don't know how to resolve it, maybe someone can help me....

I have to apply 4 different components on a surface with surface morph, so I've divided the surface in subsurfaces to apply the bounding boxes of the components on them.......the applied components should change according to the distance between the subsurfaces centres and an attractor/agent point.

I'm using dispatch to set on which subsurface each component should be applied according to the distance.

The first dispatch (1) is working correctly, but the second (2) gets crazy, as you can see in the 3rd picture....

Does someone know how to fix that? Thanks so much. Giulio.

Hello Giulio,

Here is a messed up example of something that is maybe what you were looking for. Hope it'll help you out.

and this is what it does:

Basically in the end, in this example you have two lists (i think there is an overlaying in the attractors lists, but you can get rid of that)

Cheers
hey hey! well seems really interesting!!!!...sorry for the delay in answering but I'm back on this thing just now....
unfortunately I can't see well the image you attached, I can't read the components.....could you please attach the jpg so I cand download it with a larger size?

thank you so much for your help! :)
