Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I fear my biggest weakness in GH is making changes to the tree and its branches. So i have been ignoring some problems ive been having trying to find different solutions. But alas to no avail.

So any feedback would be fantastic, or possiblly a link to a helpful tutorial.

1. Trying to weave two lists together, both lists contain very similar data and branches. But i need to keep them in their sepperate branches once they are weaved...

2. Now ive come to try and explain the second problem its too complicated and random. so hopefully any help with the above should put me in the right direction

Thanks

Hi Nick, I think you could use the Tree Branch component, and you could compose the paths with a Series component. Than weave. I recommend to read the primer.
I'm sure someone else is going to give a better solution, because I'm also not a botanist:)

Thanks man. i read through the primer when i started using grasshopper in december. but obviously most of it went over my head at the time. just flicking back through there are already some tips that are proving helpful.

botanist. i like that title. ive never aspired to become a botanist before

:) you're welcome. Did you succeed in weaving the branches?
