Is there any way to replace items in a list, and store replacements, and make consecutive replacements operating in the same two sliders?

You can "internalize data" (on the right clic menu) inside a number or integer component which you connect to a panel.

Sylvain, thanks for your reply!

I didn,t know this option, but it cut the connection between the list and the slider.

I want to store changed values in the list, but not cut the connection between sliders and list.

Thanks again.

So, you want a loop of replace item ?

Or maybe something withs sets and data recorder, but that's out of my league...

Hi Leo,

I've come up with a solution to this problem, firstly I was looking into [Data Dam] and [Data Recorder] but neither of these worked out. The best solution is [Hoopsnake], if you haven't got it installed see this link: http://yconst.com/software/hoopsnake/

Once you have the desired number in the desired position press the iteration step and the values will update.

Edit: If you want to see the results dynamically then use the output of the [Replace] component.

This is really cool! I would never have looked into this, thanks for posting the question.

Hi Danny,

thank you very much for your help! this is exactly what i was looking for.

OMG the possibilities are amazing.

A way to manipulate each control point of a curve one by one without having to have sliders representing each one:

Danny,

I have downloaded Hoppsnake and i´m testing it.

Can you attach your 2nd gh file for analizing? Can you explain the process to move the points.

Is it possible to move the points one by one and change the curve without pressing the STEP button during the process of curve changing, before baking the final curve?

Or is it necessary ever press the hoopsnake button in order to store the changes?

thanks for share your knowledge!

What I'm doing is not moving points but changing the Y component of the points.

you have to click the step button in order to change another point.

Danny,

Now I understand it!

I was trying many hours last night, looking for a solution for this problem.

Now I can continue working on my definition.

I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Can I activate hoopsnake with a boolean push button somehow?

I want to use hoopsnake for replacing items in list, but I have to do this on more list at the same time.
