Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I know there are plugins that probably do this better, but I wanted to figure out how to do it in grasshopper. It generates the largest circle you can make from each point in a cluster of points without any circles intersecting. At the moment there are a lot of gaps, so obviously the next step would be to move the points until there was a minimal number of gaps and the circles were still not overlapping.

Adam, it's probably best looking at Steven Janssen's circle packing Rhinoscript to take your definition further. Here's a VB script that takes orders a set of points from centroid and creates attached circles from closest point to previous circle.
