Square Spiral

I am trying to create a Ulam spiral in Grasshopper. I've seen one example so far, but it requires other plugins and I was hoping to do it with native components. I feel like the best approach is to create a grid of points and then reorder the point indices so that the center point is number one and they increase in a spiraling pattern out from that point, but I have no idea how to do this without resorting to plugins or scripting.

So far I have made the grid and isolated the center point.

Thanks Tom. I really appreciate what you did. My interest in the pattern isn't for the prime numbers, it's just to create that square spiral pattern, which, unfortunately, this definition doesn't do quite as well as I'd like.

Also I wanted to be able to adjust parameters on the fly, which is one reason I didn't want to use coding (the other being that I don't know code).

This seemed like an easy thing to do in theory when I started, but it's turning out to be very difficult in practice. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this though.
