i try to analyse a simple structure like below.

can somebody give a hint how to start it? maybe a simple instruction would be very helpful!!

looks like a non-linear analysis problem. you could use karamba's large-deformation module for an approximation with real cross sections and materials .. if you dont need this, kangaroo is just as fine if you define the stiffnesses qualitatively proportional
