Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Guys.

I am trying to split this surface with a Helix curve but the Isoline 0 seem to take part in the process and I wasn't able to fix the problem.

Any help will be very appreciate.

Hi.

How about using Lunchbox(Diamond)+Surface Morph?

Hi Hyungsoo Kim.

Pretty nice way to define Helix curve with lunchbox but how I see in your image, the interior edge is still there.

By the way. Thank you so much.

As long as your base surface has a seam(Ie:interior Edge), it's difficult to remove it from morphed panel or Lunchbox panel.

BTW, after baking your panels, you can easily get rid of that seams by using rhino's "Merge Surfaces" command(Smooth=No). Best.
