Split open curve into 2 segments

Hello all,

I'm really having trouble spliting an open curve at closest point (with another curve) using GH. Found some tutorials about how to achieve it inside closed boundary, but nothing like this. Anyone achieved this kind of thing????  I'd really need some help. thanks in advance.
