algorithmic modeling for Rhino

split list of points to make a closed spline

Hello everyone, I am having a problem to separate a list of points to generate curves to loft. I obtained the meshes from kangaroo, the problem is that
failed to obtain the proper order to regenerate a loft that allows me to have a nurbs surface and I need to find the geodesic lines.

any suggestions or any reference site would be very useful

Hi Javier,

It seems the points order goes in two directions (around the shape and along it). I think it would be pretty difficult to use that kind of a point arrangement to generate transverse loft curves.
Try converting your mesh directly in Rhino by using the "MeshToNURB" command, although that might end up with bunch of surfaces joined together (polysurfaces).
