Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

I was trying to split a curve with a plane

I am able to find the points where the curve interstects with the planes.

after that step I would like to use the left over curve and and loft together
so it looks like a ply wood shell

additionally I was thinking about how I could project or draw points on that curve
and use later to draw lines between to loft them.

I found a subdivide tool to generate points on a curve or surface but not a tool to
manually place points on a curve.

any tips?

Take a look at either the Shatter component. What it will need is the parameters along the curve, which is the "t" parameter from the Curve/Surface intersection.
ok I see now how it splits/scatters it

but how can I now make each curve usable???
I mean how can I split the scatter node output apart?
I looked into this and noticed that the scattering is not working as I thought.

in the image you can see that the curve is cut at different locations
than the input points from the two cutting planes
