Splashtop remote desktop - anyone using it?

Hi all,

I have just successfully managed to create a definition in grasshopper using my Samsung galaxy tablet!

This was achieve using Splashtop Streamer on my home PC and spalshtop remote desktop on my tablet. The gestures took some time getting use to in order to get wires to connect from one component to another.

Has anyone else used this software or can recommend an alternative? From my initial look at it, it would be a monumental amount of work to actually create something from scratch. My guess is that the way to best use this is to show case stuff where all you need to do is move some sliders or toggle booleans.

Any thoughts?

i use logmein ignition to extend my desktop to my tablet, but it does not work the same way as xDisplay, it shows your entire computer but you can zoom in to a portion of it. i also have a pro account of logmein and i love it

I run GH/Rhino from my iPad/iPhone with antecea remote desktop - works really well. I have found the gestures to be pretty intuitive and have constructed entire definitions (small ones, but still) this way.

Thanks guys. I saw Logmein but the price was £10 as opposed to a discounted rate of £1.99 for splashtop.

So far I've managed to get the wires by double tapping hold and drag but I have to be zoomed right in to get the right spot every time. What's your experience like with this?
