Space frame crashing please help

so iv made a space frame system that works well until i apply the pipes component allowing the lines to be more then line. when i do this i crashs grasshopper and im wondering if this is down to how my script is set up. im new to grasshopper so any help or advice would be great

Your file worked OK for me - but I used a simple cylinder for the surface shape. I don't understand what your geometry is, so to see it better I reduced the pipe diameter to 1 and changed U & V from 10 to 4. But I had no crash with either your file as is or after I made these changes.

Maybe you have an old version of Grasshopper. Or maybe your surface shape forced it into some sort of compute loop. I've found that it is almost impossible to cause an actual Grasshopper crash.
