Sound analysis through grasshopper (slavery songs)

Greetings everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have some song that I want to analyze using grasshopper.

Basically I want to extract the rhythmic pattern (beat or cadence) of the songs and present it as a formal geometrical analysis contrasting the geometry of a song against another one. 

Most of the threads talk about interactive visualization on real time, but I just wan to input a song and extract its pattern and compare them. 

I am currently doing a project about slavery and I would like to have a formal analysis of the slavery songs and how the geometries dictate the site program.
