algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Guys,

I am trying to create a diagrid pattern in a surface using LunchBox Diagrid Structure and wanted to get a random sub-division as shown in the attached example [Sheffield University] with control over filleting the ends.

Would it be possible to get control over the width [as shown in sketch] of the diagrid as well

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Felipe, think so far you are the only netizen posting the grasshopper definition and especially with the level of control it gives. I hope I can take it further e.g. control by curves or solar mapping as a shading device.
