Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I have a bunch of small segments of curves inside rhino sorted randomly that will feed the grasshopper definition to create points. Then,  I would like to sort those points along a polyline that will be generated using the same input (curves) coming from rhino. The intention is the polyline follows each curve that is closer to the next one (imagine a rope).

I found out a way doing it, which is getting the closest pt from the previous pt and making a line in between them, and so on until I am able to tie all the string, but this way its a very iterative process to copy/paste definitions needed to the purpose. I am wondering how I could do this using data paths or with another smarter approach.

Hoping to get some help. Please see files attached. Many thanks for your time.

Cheers,

Alan

Hi.

If you can use the Anemone plugin, you'll be able to eliminate repeated clusters.
