Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello forum,

i have a hard time finding simple solution for a re-ordering operation on branches. i am sure there is one, but i can seem to see it. any hints very welcome!

here is the problem.

source path structure:
0;0 list1
0;1 list2
1;0 list3
1;1 list4
2;0 list5
2;1 list6

target:
0;0 list1
0;1 list3
0;2 list5
1;0 list2
1;1 list4
1;2 list6

or to put it another way:
all branches on B=0,1,... go in A=0,1,... (thereby taking their former A as the new B).
hope this is understandable.

TIA,
cheers,
frank

Dear forum,

OK, found it.

Must have been a late-night thinking barrier.

The answer was too close to see (as suspected).

Describing the problem helped clarify what I was after ;-)

Solution:

Path Mapper (A;B ->B;A)

Next time I will post this on a local grasshopper3d.com-dummy and sleep it over before posting for real ;-)

best, frank
