algorithmic modeling for Rhino

sort a list of points based on their location

hi,

 

I would like to sort a list of point based on their Z-ordinate, ie. I would like the point with the highest Z-value to be first in the list etc.

I tried some "sort" components, but nothing worked so far...

any ideas?

figured out how to do it with the "sort list" component ...

Hi Peter,

You need to decompose the point to sort the value of Z and then plug the Original Point list into the A input of the sort component.
