What info did your text file contain? I've been trying to figure out a similar experiment, but my text file contains a table relating frequency and gain. You think this might be useful?

Ok...then, you can use frecuency data to order the information (gain) in space. You can use Gain to move points ordered by frecuency or watever you want.

The nice point is to use sound like data source.
