algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi all,
I need help smoothing a big amount of nodes like this one.(4 and 5 directions..) I want just one single smooth surface. (All at once, not modelling with tsplines one by one..)
I tried to convert it into one single mesh and then use weaverbird but its difficult. ( spheres, booleans etc..)
I think this is the key point. Convert this pipes into meshes and then merge them withweaverbird or tsplines. The problem are the booleans..
Any idea?
Cheers!!

I had not forgotten about the Glass/Weatherstripping, and the pain of replacing a broken pane. :) After the Dome is constructed the Glass or acrylic panes would rest on top of the Universal joint with an H shaped gasket (glass to glass) and a Universal cover screwed thought the Universal joint holding the panes in place.
Its now no longer your average backyard Playdome :)
Hi Martyn,
It wasn't a nightmare, but neither was it a breeze ;-)
Here's the timelapse:
3D printing made sense in our case because each node was unique.
In your case some kind of mould seems much more adequate.
That's awesome! Looks pretty solid too!
