Smooth transformation between Curves/Surfaces

Hello everybody, 

I try to get a smooth transformation between two surfaces or curves. 

Finally I have 2 curves, that point sharply together. My goal, however, is that these 2 curves have a smooth transition. My first try started with kangaroo but I also don't know if it is the most elegant solution, or whether it is also better and perhaps simpler approach.

I Hope you can help me.

This is my solution to what I think is the problem here.

Is this what you were trying to achieve?

EDIT: You can pick the point to blend from on each curve by entering different numbers for the "List Item" blocks and you can adjust the handles of the "BlendCrv" block to make the new line smoother or more abrupt.
