skin pattern

i have this model of a skin i made with just some paper folding and i would like to take it further by parameterizing it in grasshopper.  in the attached images you can see there is one basic profile to the whole thing and i would like to utilize point attractors to control the opening and closing of these paper folds, almost like an accordion hero.  does anyone know of the best way to tackle this?
