simple math issue

i can't figure out why the multiply component is spitting out a number that doesn't make sense to me. any help? thanks!

Your code doesn't work because it doesn't have initialized curve data.

also, it might be due to the rounding GH does. i matched up the decimal places in the unit prefs in rhino to GH. it's better, but still a shade off...

any ideas?

You made significant changes between your first post and the code you posted. I see nothing wrong with the numbers except for confusion caused by crossed wires. There is a slight difference in the multiplication result if you run one of the values (0.256) through a panel first, which is alarming... some kind of round-off error?

that's what i'm guessing too. i'll have to investigate further. is there some rounding logic that isn't apparent?
