Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I would love to know how I can create an "IF THEN" relationship in grasshopper between the number of points ( or dimension) in one direction, to the number of points to the other direction.

I am trying to make the points in X reach a maximum and they would stop. And once they stop, they start to build up in the Z direction.

So the X and Y are always linked in a relationship with the number of points between them.

Any help would be appreciated. I never used C+ or VB but am more than happy to give it a try.

Hi Mohanned,
if I understand correctly I think you'll want to use the SortPoints component in Vector>Point tab.

Hello,

is this what you are after?

Hello Nikos, that is super close to what I want. Instead of the points hitting the max of 7 to start creating in the Z axis, I would like them to reverse that.

Meaning when the points become LESS THAN 7 points (The second number), they will start stacking in the Z axis. Right now, when they reach above 7, they start stacking in the Z axis.

I am not sure how to reverse that

Thank you for ur help in advance

Maybe something like this then?

This is perfect. Thank you so much !!!!!
