algorithmic modeling for Rhino

shell

Hi, my question may be pretty noob but is there an easy way to create a shell in a solid, brep or a surface.

What do you mean by shell?  Create constant thickness?

 

If so you can use meshes and Weaverbird, something along the lines of this:
