algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey guys,
I have been using grasshopper for a little while right now and i have been having difficulties with morphing a rectangle based box into a squared base box, the catch here is that both bases have the same area and the iterval between them should remains with the same area as well. what I need is this series of different boxes created and where i can control the number with a slider.
I would rather not use a mesh but any help would be amazing..
i've been killing myself for something that i think someone can find quite ridiculous..
thank you for your help.

This is perfect i'm going to give it a try now. I'll let you know.
thanks so much
This like the response on top spot on but unfortunately my version of rhino is 4.0 not 5 and does not have a newer version of grasshopper.. I cant read this file :(
There are ~10 components in the definition, I'm sure you are able to recreate it from the screenshot in a matter of minutes.
I got it ;)
is it possible to input the dimensions of the first rectangle? because it finishes in the square which is perfect.
I am trying here to put a difference in height and it worked perfectly but i needed it to be higher, higher than a cube like a highrise pointblock building so i used the functions i have but i would like to have more control, is there a way of making it raise from 3 to 3 meters? maybe it would be easier if a stacked floors gradually.. not sure. what do you think would be the best way to do it?
Here i got to the stacking and controlled the height but there is an error somewhere and i wish i could establish a range, or the first rectangle's plans dimension and i wish i could make it higher than a cube in the last one.. is it possible?
i uploaded my file here if you could have a look it would be great! the stacking is in the purple group..
thanks for all the help :)
