Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hallo,

i still working on my definition for self-organizing settlement.

I am planning to use the minimization  of surface of self shadowing(or better to say the shadow which drops the buildings on each other) as one of fitness parameters for Galapagos.

I don t want to use ladybug for it on the moment, because it s makes the calculation very so i just copied and rebuild the sun vectors from ladybug and trying to solve it with mesh occlusion/exposure or shadows. The problem is, that when i am putting the rebuilt ladybug vectors in definition my shadow are getting crazy and not realistic too long.

Mb somebody knows where the problem is hiding?

Thanx!
