Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys
I'm following a tutorial that was recommended to me but I think it's a bit out of date. There comes a point in the video (4.20) where the guy sets a point just by right clicking on the distance parameter and then clicking set point, then clicks on his rhino workspace and sets the point. There doesn't seem to be this option anymore and I cant seem to find a set point on the drop down list in vectors. I can set a point and control x and y factors but I think I have to link a 'set point' in grasshopper to a 'point' in rhino. Ive attached the video and its around 4.20 that he does it. Sorry I'm very new to grasshopper but I'm trying!

The tutorial is a bit outdated but "Set one Point" on a parameter still works the same:

- Right click on the Param should pop up the menu where you should be able to

- find "Set one point" menu item

alternatively, you can

- insert a Point param from the Params tab

- Right click the param to pop up the menu

- choose "set one Point"

- connect this param to Distance B input

Sorted! Thanks so much!
