Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Newbie here.

Upon reaching a desired result via a borrowed definition (see attached), I'm trying to figure out how to further manipulate the curves through a parametric definition that is separate from the original definition.

1.  I want to separate each set of concentric circle curves.

2.  I want to then be able to change the relative positions (xyz)of each curve set AND each curve within its respective set.

After many failed attempts...I'm stumped!

See image.

Hello

you can try the following

instead of using the tree branch component you can use the explode tree component. this gives all the tree branches as output. then you need a range (or a series) of numbers for each list of circles, that will be the values for the z move.

you need to study the lists and trees. check out the tutorials , they cover your question and maybe future ones.

cheers
