Sendai Mediatheque Columns

Hi,

I think there is a very simple solution for this, however I am not terribly adept at grasshopper. I have this definition of how to create lattice columns that resemble those used in Toyo Ito's Sendai Mediatheque building. I am happy with 90% of this definition however I do not want the distortion to occur that shifts the column from being completely vertical.

Which parts of the definition need altering to produce a perfectly vertical column, without losing the ability to control the radius, height, number of divisions etc.

The first "Slider" slider controls the amount of horizontal displacement to the rings. The expression in input A is obviously flawed since it fixes A to -2.2 and overrides any input from the slider. So by fixing this expression and pulling down the slider to 0.0 you should see no more horizontal displacement.

Hello Im an architecture student and Im very new to grasshoppe, dont know how you could help but I would like to make this definition happen also or if you have it and are willing to share it even better.. let me know as soon as possible... THANK YOU! I cant seen to open this one Also I do know a proffesor that Im sure will help out but if I could have this to start with that would be great...

Hi, check that you have the latest software for gh, thats the only reason I would know why it wouldnt load. If that doesnt work someone has made a tutorial on how to create the definition. I dont speak spanish but you can get the idea from what parameters are being used.
