algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Select one item per row and column

Hello,

This problem probably has an easy solution, but I'm new here so I'd appreciate any help.

I have a Rectangle Grid of 6 by 6 cells. So 36 cells in total

I want to select 6 of them.

The condition is that each cell has to be the only one in its row and in its column of the grid.

It's actually not easy at all. I attached a script component which selects one item out of each branch in a data-tree and never picks the same index more than once.
