algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everybody,

I am currently trying to define the surfaces of a building. For the moment, I succeeded in separating roof, walls and slab. In the case of a single floor building, there is no problem but I am facing problems when I add a floor or interior walls.

My question is very simple : How can I separate interior surfaces from exterior surfaces in any case ?

Thank you in advance,

Best

The question is simple, the answer is not. You might find some clues looking at your data at hand.

Looking at how the surfaces join might be a good point to start. Outside walls will probably share the same edge with other outside walls, while inside walls probably just extend to the next outside wall... But that's just a wild guess.
